Monique Samuels already had a strained relationship with her mother-in-law, as we saw last season of The Real Housewives of Potomac. But after her husband, Chris Samuels, saw the shade his mom had been throwing at his wife on the show, such as calling her a "heifer," he stopped talking to her. Monique opened up about the status of Chris' relationship with his mom in this season's premiere of RHOP. "Chris has not talked to his mom since he found out about what she was calling me behind my back," she shared. "But regardless of what name she wants to call me, it's very important for me to see Chris maintain a healthy relationship with his mom because I'm a mom. I can't imagine little Christopher not talking to me." Time may not have healed all wounds yet for the Samuels family, but it has healed some. Monique gave an update on how things are going with her mother-in-law these days during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Sunday. "We're good. We're cordial. We're OK," she said during the WWHL After Show. "We actually had Christmas together. We all went down to Florida and rented a beach house and all of the family was there. My kids got to see everyone, so it was nice."
